Being a Make-up Artist myself, I look up for inspirations all the time to channelize my creativity. And having a smartphone along with internet, it has become way easier than before. Instagram is a vast platform where while putting up my own art, I get to follow the greatest artists as well. Naming some of the OGs of the makeup world that I look upto everyday.

PAT MCGRATH
The woman who was labeled the most influential make-up artist in the Vogue's magazine and also was in the Time's top 100 Most Influential People. She has her own line of cosmetics which are luxury products and hyped by many make-up artists all over the world. This is a capture from the Versace Fashion Show backstage.

DANESSA MYRICKS
This MUA turned entrepreneur is the idol of many women. Her brand that goes by her name(DM) has a vast colour scheme to suit women and men of every colour. She stands for empowerment, equality and offers everything for everyone. Her cream eye shadows are like a must have in every artist's kit. INSTAGRAM-@Danessamyricks

BOBBI BROWN
Do I need to say more? A home grown brand that started with just 10 simple lipsticks which is now a cult favourite of both make-up artists and people next door. If you love makeup, you will once in your life own her products.

ROBERT WELSH
A British Make-up artist who has formerly worked with M.A.C. Cosmetics and now has a Youtube channel of his own. I came across him surfing through Youtube and what caught my attention was his real vs reel myth busts. He mainly does reaction videos which are both educational and true to the T. Helping beginners learn the difference between behind camera, studio lights and sunlight in our daily life. He also does ghost stories every Monday while doing his makeup on camera. Among the Youtubers who trend on the platform, he has to be my favourite. INSTAGRAM-@Robertwelsh

ESZTER MAGYAR
A Makeup artist who does makeup on self and clicks self portraits. Then what makes her different from the existing ones? Her concept of how make-up has forced a beauty standard on us and her rebellion against it is depicted in her works. Paints in her eyes, writes "un"asthetic strong words on her lids and focuses on her tooth gap which is covered with paint. In the world which has always forced beauty standards on women and the concept of make-up which is often twisted to make believe that people have to use to hide their flaws and paint their faces, she makes her feed look disturbing to trigger the deep rooted concepts. If I had to follow any one influencer on social media be it a make-up artist or not, it has to be her
